Artist Statement
The night sky was one of the many things my grandmother would talk about during my childhood. She believed that when someone passes on, the spirit is then reincarnated as a star in the night sky. My artwork was created to give the viewer a sense of hope; the ones we love are looking down upon us and shining light into our lives.
Olivia McCormack attends North Shore Community College in Danvers, Massachusetts.
